As a set designer and teacher I became fascinated with capturing the essence of an environment. As an artist I became aware of the value and creative possibilities of found and recycled objects.

I enjoy contrasting the natural with the man-made, the crude with the refined and the simple with the complex.

Creating perspective effects on a two dimensional surface has always been a personal challenge. I use mirrors in my work to intimately involve the viewer with a piece, if ever so briefly.

It is my hope that others also enjoy these characteristics in my assemblages.

Please feel free to explore the different categories above, and enjoy!
